Danny's story


I’m Danny, Senior Account Manager for New Business at Van der Valk Solar Systems. Together with a team of technical experts, we work on delivering large-scale rooftop solar projects for our customers. My role covers everything from preparing quotations to coordinating the delivery of materials to the project site.

“I’m the main commercial point of contact for our customers.”

My role isn’t just technical. As the main commercial point of contact, I’m also responsible for building strong relationships with our customers. This means regularly visiting them to understand their needs and requirements and advising them on the best solutions for their specific circumstances.

“It’s rewarding to know that we’re contributing to the green energy transition.”

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is visiting the large-scale solar projects I’ve worked on. It’s fantastic to see everything come together as planned and the solar installation become operational. Knowing that we’re contributing to the green energy transition and helping our customers make the world a more sustainable place gives me a real sense of fulfilment.
